Declaration

Parcels may be subject to customs clearance according to several criteria. 1) If items purchased on one site are shipped in one flight and their value exceeds 300 GEL; 2) If items purchased on one site are shipped in one flight and their weight exceeds 30 kg; 3) If the items are assigned commercial status. (uniform items).

Declaration is very important when importing parcels. Undeclared or incorrectly filled information hinders the work of the shipping company and creates the risk of leaving the item at the customs checkpoint. In case of wrongly declared amount, the recipient will be responsible to the customs clearance authority, if the reduction of the value for the purpose of evasion of taxes was observed, the recipient will be issued a criminal record and a fine will be imposed.

Declaring is a fairly simple procedure, you only need to fill in a few fields, open the window My parcels:

From your cabinet, go to My Parcels-Warehouse-Parcel Management and fill in all mandatory fields

Cost (price) - the amount paid for the item in the relevant currency.
